The British-born, New York-based photographer's work is comprised of mostly black and white photographs that document the many personalities of the bustling city and focuses particularly on the manifestations of urban culture. From inimitable portraits to iconic streetscapes, Penman vividly captures the quintessential life of everyday New Yorkers.
